RPT 00002 : pasting a group icon may disrupt icon arrangement

A group icon is a collection of icons which get treated as a single unit. A group consists of a parent icon and one or more child icons. The child icons retain their position relative to the parent when the parent is moved.

A group icon can be cut, copied and pasted just like a single icon.

Sometimes when a group icon is pasted, the parent icon does not achieve its proper orientation. This is due to a phenomenon known as Gimbal lock.

When this happens, you should undo the paste (ctrl-Z) and change your angle of view (e.g. page-up or page down), re-paste the group icon, and either drag it or use icon-moves mode to manoeuver it to its proper position and orientation.
